I am not a big fan of the Deluxe stocks as I find them too much money for what you get, compared to the sporter version. Check this guy out! He'll make you an English or Turkish walnut for probably the same money as the American walnut at the custom shop.  Its worth a look and there are probably many other custom wood stock guys on the net who know how to make a Weatherby stock.  Once I get some extra cash I am going to have him make me an English walnut stock for my .340. To me, the feel of a nice oil finished stock is second to none on a hunt; you really feel tradition.

There are a bunch of unfinished ones on eBay right now for about a hundred bucks
