I see Bank of America has decided to take sides in the "Assault Rifle" debate.  They aren't going to loan money to companies that build them.  Idiots!

I have to apologize to people that I have email addresses for.  Facebook has decided to keep a list of said addresses, even if you are not on Facebook. I'll have to assume they have copies of emails sent and received by me.  Go to "settings" and download your info (all the way at the bottom)  Don't take it personal when I tell F B the all American, cover all situations 2 words. I did send a request to Fuckenberg as 2 why they did this, no response. I have  and never had a smart phone. Paranoia is a learned thing!

Looks like some preachers are proposing a semi auto  rifle ban for a  ballot proposal in Oregon. If I read this right, a semi auto rifle with a detachable "clip" will be illegal to buy, same with undescribed "large capacity "clips". If they get enough signatures, it will be on the ballot.  Even if it is 100% against the 2nd amendment, it takes years to get it to the Supreme Court with no guarantees as to it's make up then. Preachers and politicians know exactly what is right and wrong for us all!

I see everybody running down the "next" generation on the word of the same press we know not to trust, the same idjits that predicted a Hillary  landslide victory. It does yank my chain!    The ones I know from that "generation" are serving our great country. My grandson and his half brother volunteered to do just that!   It sounds like the youngest (15) is going to do the same.

The weather is pretty nasty, winds into the 40mph range with off and on rain.  I decided to do some reloading to stay busy. I  loaded 4 different 30 caliber rounds with the same bullet!  I actually used the same powder for .308. .30-06 and .300 Win Mag., IMR4064.   I did  use Reloader 19 for the 300 WBY.  ;D

Been using up last year's hurricane food! I have learned that freeze dried food from Wise or Mountain House tastes good. Use 3/4 the water called for!  A "serving size" is for a mouse.  Figure 4 serving size to one adult male. Cost is about $7 per meal and consumes a lot of water. IF you are on a electric driven pump or a questionable surface water source, this is not the answer. MRE's taste like hell, but require no water or heat and are light to carry. MRE's are considerably cheaper. Stupid stuff I have learned! Stored tap water is a bad joke!  ;D

I believe I bought 2 bags of 500 each of once fired 7.62X51 a few years back from sportsmansguide.com at a great price. I just sized the first 500 this morning and figured there would be a number of throwaways.   They all look fine!   ;D

The latest one is 35-40 miles south ( a SWAG) of me. "Multiple dead" is the latest news. I'm kind of waiting on the "high powered automatic assault weapon " reports.  Sad in any case!

Reading all this "sexual harassment " stuff in the media makes it sound like a totally male problem, regardless of your sexual preferences.  My question is how in the hell can I , as a single man, approach a woman without attaching a label to myself.  The ball is in your court, woman does not work! LOL!

When I  order(win) a new caliber gun, I order loaded ammo, brass, dies and bullets at the same time. In this case, I have a scope and rings on hand. The amazing part is all look to arrive on the same day for once from four different sources. Midway, Midsouth and Graf's for the parts and Fur Feather and Fin for the Ruger 450 Bushmaster!   ;D  Being 100% cynical, I'll believe it when it happens!

I was just reading an article about a bear attack near Naples, Florida. It's just about across the state from me, maybe 75 miles.   :)
