Handguns / handgun sights
« on: June 17, 2021, 09:11:22 AM »
I put Hiviz sights on one gun and noticed the "target" could see the front fiber optic sight. I blacked the front out with a sharpie. The Tru-glow fiber optic sight is already blacked out but more expensive.   :)

I see that Colorado is overrun with former Californians. The new gun laws there are testament. I'm sure they will work this time, like in Chicago or Baltimore!  LOL!

D Day is tomorrow. It's probably the single largest event in history. My movie for tonight is "Ike, Countdown to D-Day". Tom Selleck at his best!

Looks like a federal judge has overturned Commiefornia's AR and mag limit laws!  There was no mention of the NRA being part of the successful law suit.  :)

So many are confused about this day! It is about those that gave all for our great country, not about veterans. Be safe, enjoy the day off work, but remember those that died!   :)

Since "My" congressman died of cancer (which he knew was fatal on running for and winning reelection), it requires a special election to replace him. Since my district is 85% democrat, my republican Governor has refused to call for this special election. I see this as funny. Ron DeSantis!

Our newest invasive critter is the Cuban king anole lizard. They grow to be 20" long and are territorial. They bite with a ton of teeth. My neighbor was bitten by one. The poor lizard will die of bitchitis! Biden will welcome them with open arms, like any other illegal!  :)

His remarks on law enforcement blame all the problems in our world on the cops! He has single handed allowed shooting cops a racist allowed thing. What a dementia idiot have "we" elected?

Walking into shopping free of stupid mask that fauchi has stock in  was a sheer pleasure today! Thanks to our Republican Governor!

Sounds like a woman in SW Colorado was killed and partially eaten by a black bear while walking her dogs.

I was standing in the "10 items or less" checkout. I had 2 bags of charcoal on a BOGO and a cake mix and canned frosting. The "Karen" behind me was eyeballing my stuff. I looked at her and said I was told I couldn't bake a cake on the grill and was going to prove them wrong. The clerk was biting her tongue to keep from laughing. I'm just going to bake my own B day cake, fork my diet! The charcoal is part of my hurricane prep.  ;D

« on: April 29, 2021, 03:13:47 AM »
With hurricane season a month away, I've started my JIC preparations. I ordered a bucket of freeze dried food. Yea, it's loaded with salt but pretty tasty. My water supply has never been restricted since it comes from wells rather than surface stored. I started storing ice in my freezer in case of a long term power outage which has happened in past hurricanes. Plenty of batteries are here . 35 lbs. of dog food for Andi is enough to last her a couple of weeks. I'll test run my generator. I do need charcoal.   Repelling any looters is a given.  :)
