Will cracking in a Weatherby Mark V high gloss finish decrease the value/price of the rifle?

Around the Campfire (General Discussion) / What is the value of a .257 Ultramark with cracking/checking in the finish?

I know Ultramarks are hard to come by, but the .257 with a 24" barrel that  I've found has cracking/checking on the left side only of the forend as seen in the picture.  The rest of the gun is in really good shape. I'm new to collecting and wanted to know what it would be worth due to the flaw.  Please let me know anyone if possible.
