Thanks everyone, I didn't expect it to be so rough but the last 20 months I became even more in Love with her as I was her nurse and caregiver pretty much 24/7. Her last 3 weeks of life as I did her hospice care was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life, but I wouldn't trade a second of it for anything else. God only knows how much I Loved her and I always will, Jean was such a beautiful human being!!! If she isn't in heaven then there's no hope at all for me!!!  Doug

After the hammering that guy is taking on here he'll most likely never post on here again. You guys might be right, but what if you're wrong about him and he was being totally honest? We may never know now.

Hate to go hunting with this bunch, they would be hollering from tree stand to tree stand about not seeing any deer. Sometimes you just have to sit back and wait for the buck to stop. :)

I haven't been posting much because I no longer find anything in life enjoyable, but I agree with BMR. Quit what if in and just wait to see what washes out in the end.

Sorry about the loss of your father Scott, I too lost my father to esophageal cancer 3 years ago. I saved a bunch of roses and would hang one in the branches of the little pine he sat against deer hunting. The first year I did it, there was a large scrap were he sat! Funeral home tonight and the funeral is tomorrow :'( :'( :'(

Doug
At what time tomorrow EST is the service, so I can say a silent prayer while it is going on.

11 am central so noon eastern, Thanks my friend!!!

No problem posting about any family members who passed away on this thread, it was all Sad News.

Derrill I hope some day you change your mind and come back, I will miss you. My wife gave me a rock that said the Lords Blessings on it, until I lost it I used to rub it with my fingers and think of the Lords words about who is without sin to throw the first stone. If I could find it I'd send it to you Derrill! I'm far from perfect but I try to never make the same mistake twice, stay well friend.

My wife lost her battle with ovarian cancer today and died in my arms.. I would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers and messages. Especially Chris, Roger and Eric for your PMs.

Jean and I were married over 40 years and I can honestly say I've never meet a nicer human being. She was the office manager at a small church and would empty the cash out of her purse to give to the needy when the outreach fund was empty. And would even give her own lunch to someone in need. And on top of that she put up with me, if she's not in Heaven theres no chance for me!?

Since 6/1/2016 she had 27 rounds of chemo, 3 major surgeries and 2 life threatening infections. She finally succumbed to not eating after her bowels stopped working after being resectioned. At least she's not suffering anymore, what a horrible disease!!!  :'( :'( :'( :'( Doug

I am kind of disappointed there hasn't been any direct info shared here on the nation by Weatherby.  :)
That is because we are not as important as facebook
I take exception to this comment. Weatherby pays more attention to you guys on the Nation than you can guess, but there were a wide range of steps they had to go through in making both the decision and the announcement, not least of which was coordinating with the governor of Wyoming, Matt Mead. In any move of this kind, the cost to the company is staggering, and the state of Wyoming is doing a lot to facilitate Weatherby's move; it would hardly be a gracious gesture on Weatherby's part to steal any thunder that might have benefited the Governor and both the state of Wyoming and the town of Sheridan by leaking information out before the planned official ceremony. Let's take a deep breath and give Weatherby the benefit of the doubt during what will be an extremely challenging time.
JP

Your right again JP, to many people are still upset about missing out on the free beer. There's not many forums out there were the owners actually interact with the customers, it would of been nice to have the Facebook live mentioned here ahead of time though. It would sooth a lot of Nation members feelings if you could line up special a tour for any Nation member with at least 1,748 posts when the new factory opens for tours??
Good one Doug on the post count.

Your Welcome Derrill  ;)

Amen, BMR!  90,000 members here still haven't heard a official word!   :)  90,358 to be exact!
Funny thing with all those Nation members, probably 90,000 posted a couple times and then are gone.

The best news of the week. I will definitely visit the Weatherby factory now.  ;D ;D

Hey Bad, get on it and win that Power Ball will ya.   ;D ;D ;D
I have been talking about moving to Wyoming if I won a big lotto prize since I hunted elk there in the mid 90's. Weatherby.com says 2019 move!   ;D

I thought you were the 20 year old in Florida that just won $450 million!!! I figured you were just trying to keep it from the ex's.

This is great news, I have good friends in Wyoming, when I'm down there visiting in the future, I will be able to  make a trip to the weatherby shop.  8)

Rob

How about a Special Weatherby Nation Tour with a bunch of members???

Isn't Sheridan, Wyoming where JP moved too???     ;) ;)
