Nice work Arky!
We need some details. How far was he? Where did you hit him? How far did he go? What bullet/load did you use? Thanks!

Since you're interested... After bumping a herd of 15 antelope about a mile away, I asked my co-worker to stay within sight of them with his 4 wheeler to draw their attention. I walked out of their sight then walked within roughly 300 yards out of their sight. After crawling about 100 yards around a hill I spotted this one. I fired a 100gr Barnes TTSX a little high in the shoulder. The rest of the herd scattered except this one. It started walking toward me! At the time I didn't think I hit it. I crawled around the hill out of it's sight, but as I crested the hill it spotted me and run. I dropped it at about 150 yards on a dead run with a shot only 1 inch below the first paralyzing it. I'll post the handload data in a little bit. I always seem to shoot high with my 257 even though I use a rangefinder.

The load is 75.5 grains of H1000. The exit wound was 2" from 1 shot and at least fist size on the shot that hit the spine. Those 100grain Barnes TTSX bullets seem to be the ticket. I have some 115 grain TSX bullets I'd like to try. Anyone have any experience with them?

So far, the 115 TSX don`t prove to be as accurate as the 100`s.   :)

After buying two boxes of bullets I saw the label indicating for 1:9 twist rate barrels and faster. Did you have any problems with them tumbling?

I had this one ground up into Italian sausage. Makes great chili meat! the Italian seasoning seems to dissipate the sage after taste.

Very nice! The .257 is closest thing there is to a laser.
