My thirteen year old Daughter harvested this bull with her 7mm-08.We have video of everything from scouting to the      final hunt. She helped me process the meat (20 hours total to cut and wrap)and have already had some very good meals. We are now looking into a antelope hunt for next season.I am very proud of my hunting partner and am looking forward to more adventures with her.

Congratulations to your daughter, thats a Dandy bull moose. Looks like you've got a hunting partner for life. Was there any tracking involved after the shot, and what scope do you have mounted on that 7mm-08?

When we first seen the bull it was about 40 yards away.It took her a bit to decide if she wanted to take that bull.We actually were looking for a much bigger one that we had seen the evening before. The bull actually came 15 yards and stood broadside. She double lunged it with a 140 gr. partition and it took about two steps, fell over and died.It was very intense and exiting for both of us.She has a leupold mounted on her model 7.She also wants everyone to know that we used every bit of the moose,Our neighbor ate the tongue, heart and liver and dehydrated all the scraps we trimmed off for his dogs.

Congratulations on a nice bull. It is good to see a young lady hunting rather than playing with her phone. I always wanted to get a moose, maybe she could give me some pointers
