I did a 3-day Silver salmon and halibut trip out of Seward in 2000 with four other guys. We caught 54 salmon, eight eating-size halibut, quite a few sea bass and one super ugly ling cod. I also caught two dog sharks. The humpback whales put on quite a show for us also.

We had a couple of days north of there going after King salmon but we didn't get any. A half-crazy, drunk woman accusted us of trespassing and wanted $20 from each of us to keep her from calling the police. HA! The police were at least an hour away and we gave her $20 and left.

Who ever goes will have a great time.
Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.

Boat in the River sounds like the best of both worlds. Don't have to worry about the bears so much. Good luck Roger sounds like A great time.

Cost would be around $3000 counting flight depending on how many days we want to fish and how fancy a place we decide to stay in.

That sounds friggin' great, and I'd normally be all over it but I'm out, due to money (lack of). Got to buy an A/C system for the house ASAP and the IRS is about to bend me over with no vaseline on April 18th. Sucks.
Come and take it.
