Im in new tettitory here. I have a 1-4.5x scope on my .416 Taylor. Any hints as to sighting this in? What power would you start with? Im going to zero one inch above bull at center at 50 yards, should i sight in at full power? Or between lowest and highest?

I always start on lowest power, then run up to highest after I've got it set, and confirm.

If it's a quality scope it shouldn't matter what power you sight it in for. The point of impact should not change as you go up or down in power. I sight all my dangerous game rifles in at 200 yards on full power then check their point of impact at different distances and power right back to 10 yards.
