Talley mounts for Vanguard

Hey Everyone-

My first post here so bear with me!
I have a Vanguard Sub MOA in 270 WSM in layaway at Cabela's.
What is the word on the lightweight Talley mounts (aluminum I believe) that Ed has in his catalog?
I have a new Burris still in the factory wrappings, and want to get mounts so it can all come together the day I pick up my new rifle.
Any comments on these would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Talley mounts are very well made. I would order them from Talley. You will get it right the first time. I have them on 2 rifles, I like the one piece mounts, the bases are built into the rings. Weatherby and Talley go togather.

Thanks Maylor!

Do you use the light weight Talley's?

I THINK they make the one piece in steel as well.

I appreciate your input!

I have the Lightweight (Aluminum) Talley Mounts on my Sub-MOA 257 Stainless and have never had a problem. I bought mine in the silver finish from Weatherby, and I kind of like the Vanguard Logo on the rings. Anyway, never had a problem with them moving or anything else. For the money, you can't beat em.
