I just purchased this 240 west german rifle. I LOVE TO FIND SOME GOOD LOADS FOR IT DOES any one have any thoughts.

Never shot anything below 70 in any of mine.The best accuracy I've ever had came from the 80gr. Speer spitzer.For a hunting round you can't beat the factory 85gr. Barnes Triple Shock.

I can't help you either, I have only used 95- 105 gr in both 240's of mine. I do have some 65 and 70 gr bullets here, just have never got around to try them.

Welcome to the Nation highhopes56!!! I don't have a 240, but I was wondering what you plan on using your 240 for, with such light bullets? Without looking at a reloading book I would guess they are screaming out of the muzzle at over 4,000 fps.
