Dodged a bullet yesterday evening.A Super Cell developed a couple miles East of the little town I live in yesterday about 5:30pm.30 minutes later there were reports of grapefruit size hail and a rotation signature.Sustained winds of 70mph and gusts to 100,but storm chasers never spotted a funnel cloud on the ground.

National Weather Service just confirmed that the storm produced a tornado at Lake Brownwood.

I agree that it is hard to believe grapefruit size hail.

Wouldn't you hate to be a horse or a cow in that kind of hail?
