I wasn't planning on restoring any more old cars but it isn't every day you can find an old Camaro with a rust free body. I had my 6.5 accumark for sale any way as I prefer my 6.5 ULW. The car needs some work to get it road worthy but for $4000 and a rifle I considered it a steal.

It is difficult to pass on a classic. You have that ULW. Great deal!

Sounds like a good trade to me. Since your ULW is a tack driver, you could afford to trade the Accumark.

Great deal!! a classic car will always be worth more than a modern rifle not to mention a bit more fun as well.

I don't know how to do pictures, the car is a 20 footer with a poor amateur paint job in red. I will just build an engine for it and fix all of the cobbled up stuff and sell it. I did a high dollar resto on a 68 SS big block a while back and ended up with about 1000 hours and $30000 in it, too much for an old man. This car was originally a 327 two barrel, powerglide so it will make some one a good driver or restomod.

Sorry Weatherby I'd take the 67 Camaro and make it into nice sounding cool daily driver.  Maybe a set of old school cragers ?

Had 2 Chevys with a powerglide!  327 used to be a real easy engine to work on and with!  Good luck with it!  Jealous!   ;D

If I had two mark v rifles in 6.5-300 and this guy wanted one of them....which ever one he wants. I would love to have one also. I am far from being a Grease Monkey so it would cost me a lot more.

I am a grease monkey! My first job was in a "Esso" gas station in 1966. I learned a ton from mechanics named Charlie Brown and Chester Brandt. Rednecks beyond current description, I still see them as better teachers than  90% of my post grad professors. plus what I learned from them is useful!  :)   Hell, my GSD will get the tools I need for such a job!  ;D

Sounds like a great way to spend some of your time. Wouldn't fret about trading the Weatherby. Lots of guns have come and gone in my lifetime. I don't regret selling or trading a single one of them.
