Are you in the Benning area? Did you attend graduation?

I wish! this hurricane stuff has me nailed down!  I did chat with him on FB. I'm always amazed at how well we connect.  18 year old and a old man in his second or third childhood!   ;D

That's GREAT news, may God watch over him during his tour(s) of duty.

How much freedom does he have? Just let me know if you need someone to take him out for a congratulatory dinner.

Thanks, Cbloom20!  Very Nice of you!   His parents came down from Virginia for his graduation and took him out for whatever he wanted.  :)

Bad, very proud of your grandson.  Glad to see young men joining our military.  102 days left for me, but who's counting.  ;D ;D ;D

He graduates his training at Ft Benning on Friday.   ;D  Probably headed to Ft Bliss, Texas next near El Paso, probably a good time of year for that PCS.
