Welcome to the Nation!! I haven't read about anyone trying the 178 eld-X in their 300 Bees here, if you have good luck let us know.

I'm using a 212 gr ELD-X in my 300 WIN. Nosler brass, CCI primers and a healthy dose of H1000. Excellent accuracy. I've gotten sub-MOA groups out to 1000 yds. Not sure how it will preform on large game. I still haven't seen many, if any reviews of these bullets being used on elk or elk sized game.

I gave the Hornady ELDX 178 gr a try in my reloads but I could not get them to group well. Best I got was 1.5 or so MOA at 100 with a load of 81.5 grains of RL22. That said the 200 grain version in the factory ammo is shooting very well with sub MOA. My rifle shoots the NAB and Barnes TTSX 180 well but not great. The 200 gr NAB is a lights out shooter in my particular gun.
