Help on camo pattern
« on: September 29, 2017, 05:59:18 PM »
I've been trying to find this camo (on shirt) and can't find any place that sells it. Anyone know the name of this camo and where it's sold? Thanks in advance.
I love the smell of deer guts in the morning, it smells like...VICTORY!

At one point in time I'm sure Cabelas sold it too Mike, I remember seeing it in there.
Tough to see that camo with the monster mule deer rack in front, NICE buck!!!

That Rack mounted on the front of your wife's 52 would really attract some attention!

Thanks a lot Doug, I've never seen that in any of the local stores around here or advertised in any publications.

Hard to make out but the logo does look like First Lite. Those guys have really good customer service, I bet if you called and asked where to send the pic to, they could identify it for you real quick.

I found the original camo mfg, and I suggest reading the "About Us" section (upper left) It explains their color design and offers a guarantee to buy it back if not satisfied. After you open the link, the pages scroll to the left, on their own, so just stop it on the product you want to look at.

Interesting camo Danno,  I've heard of it but never looked it up. The surprising thing is they have sizes large enough to maybe fit me.

The cammo pattern is now sold by different manufacturers, and it is called the ASAT.  However, I first saw it with First Light, which BTW makes great hunting clothes, and they use one of the best Merino wool in the world. Their stuff is not cheap, but you are paying for quality stuff.

My friend here in GA swears by the stuff.  It is all he will wear.

Be sure to shop around online, as ASAT camo is expensive from them directly. Some sellers offer a price break, others don't, some have a good selection of style and size, others don't.

Thanks everyone, I first saw this camo on a mule deer hunting video and was amazed at how it nearly made the person invisible until he moved. Each time he stopped it blended in with the surroundings perfectly. Doug, I really like the Predator green deception, and danno, you're right about the ASAT site having some questionable pricing. I ended up finding an ASAT coat on Amazon for more than half off ASAT's price sheet. Thanks for all the help!
