I have a chance to buy a Mark V made in Germany fitted with German Claw mounts and. Zeiss scope.  Any member have any experience with this system as I am unfamiliar with it.
Keep the shiny side up!

Was state of the art in the early 1960's.They hold there zero pretty good, but before you trust the quick detach and install system in the field you should use it several times in a non-game shooting trial.I think they were mainly built so you could use the open sights of your rifle if something happened to the scope or when hunting game in close conditions. You hardly ever see them on German made Mark V's that were sold in the US,but I've see a lot on Europas.
Sorry... Yesterday was the last and final day for any and all complaints whatsoever.

I try to avoid temptation unless I can't resist it.
