Sig Sauer Rangefinder + Scope Sale at Midway
« on: December 05, 2017, 11:12:17 AM »
Received this email today and thought it was a pretty good deal if anyone happens to be in the market for something comparable. I have a Sig rangefinder and have nothing but positive things to say about both quality and performance. Ad says it’s a $200 savings...

Same here. I have been tempted to buy one a few times though, just going off how much I like the rage finder. Anyone with any experience with a Sig Sauer scope or binos? It so, thoughts/comparisons??

I've got a Sig 3-9x50 scope on my 338 Federal and I'm very happy with it. It's very clear, lets in lots of light and takes a beating. I've had it on the front gun mounts on my ATV and watched as I was running along dirt roads and trails. It shook as if it was in a paint shaker. I was worried it was going to be shaken to pieces and never hit on target. After getting home I shot it, not expecting it to still be on target but to my surprise it was still shooting dead-on. Passed that torture test.

Thanks for the info! I might have to get a Sig S. scope now, especially considering how good the range finder is...

I bought the Sig scope with the hellfire reticle. Looks great, just waiting on a new rifle to mount it on. All reviews i found were very positive.

Had it narrowed down to the Vanguard Banshee in .308 or the one with the pepper laminate stock also in .308.
But then I handled a sporter today with that lovely walnut stock and I cant get it out of my mind. Any opinions?
If I get the Banshee I would have the Sig scope cerakoted to match in burnt bronze.
