Funny story about that synthetic 30-378, I brought it at a local gun auction for around $600 if I recall correctly, 5-6 years ago, maybe a little longer. It was unfired NIB, but the muzzle break that came with it, has no serial # on it, and it a different color, but it for a 30 cal. Who know's how that happen. I was going to use it for a donor action for a custom built 500A2, so it didn't matter about the different color brake. I put the rifle in the back of one of my safes, until I needed it for the project I was going to do. Plans change, I didn't do the 500A2, and I totally forgot I had that 30-378 in the safe, until last summer, I was looking in that safe for another rifle, and found the 30-378.
My gf, told me I was likely the only person, that would forget a 30-378
Till this minute, that rifle is still unfired, I haven't decided if I should change out the Tupperware stock for a Bell & Carlson, scope it, and spend the time working up loads for it. I rarely use the other 30-378 I got.
