Muzzle Threading for Silencer

Muzzle Threading for Silencer

Greetings all,

This is my first post. I own a couple of Mark Vs (257 & 300 WBY) and am thinking of adding an Accumark in .30-'06. I'd like to have the muzzle threaded for use with a direct thread silencer and wondering if any of you have had any experience with this. I'm thinking the heavier contour of the Accumark line would make for a better suppressor host. If anyone has experience in a similar endeavor, please share your findings. Thanks!

I would have Weatherby do the threading, that way you don't void the warranty.  I'm sure it can be done, and I would call them and ask them the question.

Thanks for your reply. I will surely call Weatherby if I get any further with the idea, but was curious if anyone had experience with muzzle threading and silencer use on their rifles. Thanks again.
