Not suggesting anything radical here, just a basic cleaning of the firing pin. Sometimes the grease or oil that rifles are packed in from the factory can collect dirt or dust and keep parts from working properly. You can take the firing pin assembly out of the bolt and flush both with a degreaser. (you don't need to remove the firing pin spring, unless you can see that the spring is broken) An aerosol spray can be used to blow things out. After you degrease those parts, wipe and dry them off completely, and add a light grease to the firing pin spring and re-assemble the bolt. Put a light coat of oil on the bolt. (I don't think the factory ammo is the problem jmo)
Being that the rifle is new, you may not feel that you should have to do any of this, in which case, as others have suggested, call Weatherby directly at 1-800-227-2016 and ask for the Service department and they'll be glad to help you resolve the problem.
