Weatherby rifle Bank deal

So the X deposited money with Bank of Boulder back in 1997. He SAID the certificate of deposit would be mine, the rifle his.
Well it’s 18 years later. I’ve never gotten a single contact about this but he swears it’s true.
How do I find out ?

I did the same thing in 1995, $500.00 deposit and received a new in the box .257 Weatherby.
I had the 20 year CD made out to my then 1 year old niece.
Three years ago she got the $500.00 for her 21st birthday and I still have the Weatherby.
No problems.
Be sure you have all the paperwork.

I don't think Weatherby had anything to do with this deal. It was just a bank deal

https://bizwest.com/2000/10/20/bank-in-boulders-new-namefirst-national-bank-of-colo/

The Bank in Boulder is changing its name to the First National Bank of Colorado, unveiling a new logo and is on track to open more branch banks in Denver, Westminster and Broomfield by mid-2001.

The name change became effective Oct. 16, after the name had been tweaked earlier from The Bank of Boulder to the Bank in Boulder in January 1999. The most recent change was made to eliminate confusion for customers as the bank adds more branches, said Dave Gilman, president and chief executive officer.

For one thing it hasn't been 20 years yet and another thing would be who's name is on the CD.

Welcome to the nation, Patti Ann! 1997 is 21 years ago, not 18!   Check with the bank and I hope you have the certificate.    :)

Yep,been 21.

There were several CDs time lengths that were offered I believe. The one in question could have been a 30 year,or maybe a 25.You are going to need the paperwork no matter what. That should be your 1st priority.

Have you moved sense 1997? If so did you notify the bank. Maybe just contact them, they may be looking for you
