Weatherby Mark XXII

Weatherby Mark XXII

I'm looking at possibly purchasing a Mark XXII.   Don't know much about them.   Any advice on what to look for and what to avoid?   Reasonable price?  Are they accurate?  Does Weatherby have any intentions of starting production of a new .22?   Thanks for your help.

Be ready to get your checkbook out. They have gotten pricey.
Sorry... Yesterday was the last and final day for any and all complaints whatsoever.

224 King, I have a 17 HMR in new condition that I paid $800 for new and a tube fed .22 from the 70's that was $140 new and was wondering about what they go for now. Not for sale at this time, maybe later.

The 17's NIB are just under 2K.Fired,but as new in box with all papers I've seen them go for $1650.Your XXII Semi Auto could be worth anywhere from 450 to 1350.Condition,maker,and tube or clip model make a big difference in price.

So which one is worth more, the tube or clip model?

A Mossberg made tube model NIB can bring 13-1400.Clip model is in the same ball park too if made by Mossberg.Maybe a hair cheaper.Less than 700 of each made.I sold my NIB Mossberg tube about 6 years ago for 1650.00 plus shipping. It went for more cause it sold with a Weatherby XXII scope that was NIB as well.
