Not far, far West Texas, but pretty damn far... North of Leakey, so rugged, but just hill country rugged...

Also, just looked up Leakey on the map. Dang, I did not know there were Aoudad around that area. That is really cool.

Good eye, yes, at about 130 yards, a 600lbs ASF feeder on one of the few flat clearings on the place. Mostly are just small saddles or side hill openings. Our second year after many years with no hunting... Cutting lots of cedar, improving roads and setting up blinds and feeders.

Aoudad are the most common exotic and we have some trophy class, but also some Axis and others. Local guides tell me a few free range Elk are killed each year.
