You will more than likely have fantastic results with those bullets.  I have used BERGERís for 15 years in my .257,115g @3500 fps and .300, 210g at 2940 fps.  I have yet to have a failure.  I would be using them in my 6.5x300 but the 143 eldxís had a little better accuracy.  Donít shoot the shoulder and you wonít waste any meat.

.257,115gr. @3500 fps?  Pretty hot load, about 200fps over max in the Berger book from a 26" barrel!   :)

Berger load data is very conservative and the load is very safe in my gun.

115 G BT factory loads went 3500fps from my 257 Mark V Big game master and I got same velocity with IMR-7828.

Any responsible reloader can safely load over max while working up and watching pressure signs. Also, most know that some barrels are just faster than others.

I tried Berger bullets in my .257 very accurate load and held it at long range.
I am not a fan of this bullet on big game, but many are.
+1 to the Berger  manual being very conservative
