i see that the long range boys are useing the 7 mm magnum in remington on the long range shows ,mostly on best of the west.give a  7 mm weatherby case would you say if given the good barrel and true up action can it shoot accuratly out to the yardages that they shoot?i feel that the weatherby case has more potentioal to do that .what are your thoughts on this?just looking for imfo,i am not building  one or shooting eather case.i own a 300 weatherby and a 300 winchester in remington 700 .the weatherby is a 26 in barrel mark v deluces.

Wouldn't be a problem for the Wby 7mag, you just need great optics, good hand tuned loads and know how to use them both to accomplish those shots. (and a lot of practice at those distances) The Weatherby wouldn't have to be a custom build either. The Weatherby Arroyo comes to mind.

There is nothing that the 7mm Rem Mag can do that the 7mm Wea can't do and probably do it better. JMO
