Took them out today. 240 wby Backcountry light weight and the 30-378 Krieger Custom MKV rifle (KCR)
First 3 shots out of the KCR--not too bad I guess
Next 3 shots
I stopped right there and put it 1" high at 100 yards
The 240 did well for the first time but the wind started affecting stuff.
Not too shabby I guess.

Cool rifles! I think that may be the first KCR I’ve seen that someone actually owned. Groups seem to be pretty dang good. Anything jump to the top of your mind that you specifically like about either the Backcountry or the KCR? Never personally handled either model.

Great looking rifles, and good groups. I see you use the 175 LRX in your 30/378 with great accuracy. I use the same bullet in mine only with RL-33 and get 3400 ft/sec and, if I remember correctly, .6 at 100 yards. Good load.

The KCR just plain rox! Very accurate, top of the line Krieger barrel, free-floated, ceracoated bedded all from the custom shop. The back country is super lightweight and both have spectacular triggers

Both look like nice rifles.
I really like the KCR rifles
