Does a sa-08 require an o-ring in the gas port cylinder?  I recently purchased a used 12ga it cycled heavy loads but not light skeet loads. Discovered that they come with two gas pistons one for heavy loads and one for light loads mine only had heavy one that was in the gun, and there was no o-ring in the gas port cylinder, I called Weatherby and ordered the light load piston $35.00  didnít even think to ask about the o-ring but the spare for my Remington 1100 competition model fit in the groove on the sa-08. I think Cabelas should have passed this info on to me when I bought it. They said they didnít know either the people at Weatherby were friendly and helpful but didnít ask if I needed to order a new o-ring with the piston. I think they were very busy moving to there new home In Wyoming sounds like a nicer place to work and live than so. Ca. Wonder if they are accepting resumes?
