What Where and When are you hunting this fall and winter?

Thought I was going to get to chase some pigs but that fell through. We are fishing instead down in Texas. All my hunting will be in Indiana this year. Testing out the crossbow and 140 grain SP’s in my 6.5-300.

Dove a time or two in between now end of Oct.
Bow deer starting Sept. 29/ Gun deer starting Nov. 4 till mid Jan.
Pigs mixed in as I get a chance
Javelina in Feb. (really looking forward to this hunt. first time chasing that animal and first time hunting anything in that part of the state)

Maybe mix in a duck hunt, pheasant hunt, and sandhill crane hunt as well.

All in Texas, although different parts of the state. Writing it down makes me realize I have a busy season ahead!

I just bought my 4th preference point for Wyoming Pronghorn.  My season will be 2 legged untagged dear till probably early next year when I get a chance at 4 legged hogs. No limit on either!    :)

Bad, you'd better beware of those 2 legged untagged dear, they'll jump ya. Then again that's probably what you're hoping. :P
I love the smell of deer guts in the morning, it smells like...VICTORY!

Whitetail, Muzzleloader/Rifle in southern Middle Tennessee. Nov-Jan

Got kill happy with my 257Wby last year,
dropped a lot of does (usually happens when I get a new rifle).

Gonna try to resist that temptation this year and do some buck hunting... First few weeks anyway

Northern Arizona Deer .  I have the early hunt and my wife has the late rut hunt.   Our area is a transition area where the deer move north off the Kaibab in winter,  and south off the Paunsaugunt in Utah meeting in the winter grounds on the border.  We scouted over Labor day for 4 days and saw no deer at all,  and that was to be expected we really weren't to serious about actually seeing deer but rather looking for water, terrain, honey hole's, roads, access, etc.    Lots of sage brush to the north and really deep canyons to the south and west.
