257 Weatherby and H4831

Anybody have any luck with this combo. My 300 Wby likes  H4831 so I want to try it in my 257. Been using IMR7828

I have had great luck with this combo.  66.5 grains of H4831SC under a Nosler 115 Partition with CCI250 primers.

This load shot great out of my Vanguard Series 1 .257 Wby Mag

I am sure it will work Captn but looking at the online Hodgon reloading you will be losing a lot of speed compared to most other powders listed.No need to limit a thoroughbred. ;D

i use h4831sc in my 257,68gr and sierra 100gr btmatch.willshoot bugholes at 100 yards.i have killed several deer with that match bullet they perform well if placed correctly,will distroy a lot of meat if not.......

Good point. From what I've read I'd loose almost 200fps thing from IMR7828 to H4831
