I would like one but was looking at a Vanguard Wilderness at the gun shop the other day and talked to him about trading my Winchester Model 70 in on it. The Winchester is a beauty but almost to nice for me to carry in truck. It's got a lighter trigger then I like as well.

Love my Wilderness in .240WBY. I tend to shy away from getting the exact same gun in different cals but have thought often about how useful another Wilderness would be in .270win. I say go for it! (Maybe keep the Model 70 too!  )

I would like to see that in a .270 WSM. Reminds me a lot of my 300 WSM Browning X Bolt Hells Canyon Speed but less expensive. The only reason I can think of for now wanting one is I don't have room for a bigger safe in my gun room, LOL.

Yea I got a friend that figures I should keep the Winchester but it was just a nice rifle, no memories and it would bother me not to use it.

That is an idea, his Dad shoots the same rifle in 300 Win Mag, although I could start him out right and give him my Weatherby when he is old enough.
