Welcome, wow you have a fast barrel, I thought my load of 91g US869 with 140g acc at 3400fps was cooking. How long is your custom barrel and is it free bored?

My barrels is 28" finished and I also have a thunderbeast suppresor on it. Also, some loads on chrono went 3700-3800, but i didnt think those could be accurate.

how would you get brass? neckdown and fireform? what are  ballistics on that round

I was told by a couple very reliable people that the next factory cartridge from Weatherby will be the 7-378, so at the moment my son and I are keeping our fingers crossed. We ran into them at the Reeds Gun Fair last April and will be asking again this coming April, so no plans for a Custom rifle at the moment.
