Went to Academy and bought the rifle, scope and three boxes of 129 grain Interlocks from Hornady. The price was right so I bought it.
The rifle is a TC Compass with a Nikon 4-12 on top.
I also bought two boxes of 140 grain Corlokts.

I have 2 T C Compass rifles, both are unbelievable shooters. More so considering price!  The 6.5 Creedmoor is a easy winner!  Good luck with it!   ;D

Sounds like a great price. Threaded barrel so you are suppressor ready also.

at the gun shop I frequent the TC compass  is $279 cheaper then a comparable Vanguard.

Makes you wonder how some companies can do it and others can't.

I picked up a T/C Encore Pro Hunter with .308/7mmRemMag/.500 barrels. I've yet to shoot it but have plans to get it out in the near future. Very well built rifles from what I can see. Congrats on your new rifle, the 6.5 Creedmore is a fun round.

Sounds like you have all your bases covered in with one gun.
Shot it three times before one of my neighbors came over and we had to leave for a basketball game. Very tame recoil. Ammo isn’t to horribly price and not hard to find.

My brother just bought a Ruger American Go wild camo. The factory 129gr Hornady interlocks shoots great in it!

Several friends have the Ruger American in 6.5 CM and they are one hole shooters right out of the box.So good that it's crazy.

Congrats Chris, I've been wanting to get one in a Ruger No. 1, but the prices are ridiculous!  Let us know how it shoots.

Oh I eyeballed one of those too. If they were in the $700-$750 I may of got one. The price on those are pretty high.

Shot the rifle today. Out of the two boxes of ammo mine shot the 140 grain Remington’s. The Hornady bullets shot decent but not as good as the Remington’s.
