Opening day for firearm season starts Saturday

  Indiana’s gun season starts this weekend. Like always I am ready for it. I will only be going after does. We are only allowed one buck in Indiana.
  I will most likely be using my Accumark in 6.5-300 but at some point I will be trying my 6.5 Creedmoor out.
  I dropped my .450 off to a buddy from work so his son could use it. So far four people have killed deer with it including me.

My brush gun?hahaha. I need more ammo for it. May have snow Sunday but opening day looks like high of 40 low in high 20’s or low 30’s.

Gun opener in NY is also this Saturday.  Bringing my Weatherby Vanguard Sporter in 30-06.  Just sighted it in at the range this afternoon.  It will be cold with over a foot of snow, so hunting should be good.  Best of luck to everyone else hunting this weekend.

I love it when there is snow because you can see deer a mile away and tracking if needed is a whole lot easier.
