It amazes me that some believe everything they see and hear about guns in the movies and on TV.
Tex: I ordered the adapter and some mini shells for my Shockwave. The minis were very hard to come by when I first bought mine but seem readily available now.

Roger, glad you got the adapter - it really works. The mini-shells are a pleasure to shoot. Academy sells them. For some reason, the Academy store by me keeps them in the back and you have to ask for them. Additional note: You can mount a small laser on these little Redfield rails (called mount bases, but just 1 5/16" long pieces of rail drilled to fit the 590). 8 bucks for a pair at Academy. One more note 12/14/18: I added a photo of how a Crimson Trace Rail Master looks mounted on this short little Weaver rail (mount).
