Well the wind was at about 3 mph this afternoon, so I took the 280 accumark out for a spin. It surely didn't diappoint me. All I can say is wow it shot good!!!!

Nice rifle and caliber
What weight bullet are you using in your 280?

Nice looking rifle!!! I just saw one exactly like it on Facebook. Let us see some groups once you get it dialed in.

I got it on paper with some 140 grain Remington core loks which didn't shoot bad at all. Then I fine tuned it with Barnes tsx 140 grain. It grouped extremely well I got this 280 accumark and a 270 wby accumark in the same deal I haven't shot the 270 yet pretty excited to try it also

Very nice. That should be a good load in a 280. And you can go to 160 and 175 if needed

I mainly hunt whitetail and hogs 140 should be great. I've never used the Barnes bullets I heard they do good we will see. I shoot the 110 accubonds in my 257 wby they are excellent also in my 264 WM I shoot the 130 accubond good performance.

That is so right, once you start shooting the 270 Wby, your other rifles will be sitting idle.  ::)  ;D

Welcome to the Nation. Great looking rifle, scope, and outstanding 100 yard group. Won't be surprised if the 270 Bee gets you the same kind of results. Good Luck

The 280 Rem is a terribly under rated cartridge in my humble opinion. I sure like mine. A rifle that can drop deer and be a long range steel plate plinker is A-OK with me.
Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.

Your rifle certainly shoots as good as it looks.  Did you polish your barrel to make it look that shiny or is it just the way the light is hitting it?
Nothing is better than a Weatherby, big bore magnum, or a Colt.

I polished it with mother's mag polish! Did a great job of removing small scratches and really making it shine
