That is absolutely beautiful and a testament to the talent, skill, and attention to detail of the craftsman(men) who did all that engraving work.  For the level of skill and time that it took to make that beautiful rifle the prices are very reasonable.
Thank you for sharing this with us and as always we look forward to all the new info.

With the quantities being produced, I suspect it's laser engraved. Beautiful none the less.

just a passing thought, Any chance President Trump might score one of these Gold Weatherby Commemorative Rifles, with "Make America Great Again" stamped on it?

I really love the detail on the new Wyoming rifle but I think you missed a key bling component. The jeweled bolt is beautiful but the black flutes detract from the scheme. Why don't you do them in Gold leaf also, I think that would make it all flow together. I can see another paragraph in the manual about cleaning the bolt.

You would almost have to buy the gold vs. silver if you really wanted one as a collector. If I were to buy one, I wonder if I could bring myself to break the seal on the box and even look at it. I'd probably have to do a road trip to Wyoming to get one. That way, I might be able to look at one so I'd know what was in the box. It would drive me crazy otherwise.

I'm sure they will be showing up in some of the stores and on Gunbroker and as pretty as they look I might have to be buried with it if I buy one. Should be able to beat the MSRP by quite a bit at some of the bigger dealers, I will be looking!!

Hello Nation,
We will be releasing the limited number Wyoming Commemorative Rifle at SHOT next week. We posted the 2019 catalog early on our website and the images were posted. Here is the information on the rifles (both Gold and Silver). The Gold rifles will be the first rifles with WY serial numbers.
We will be releasing the Weatherby Collective Catalog at SHOT as well, and we will be releasing them multiple times a year.

Maybe Weatherby could show us Nation members some love and send us a copy of the Weatherby Collective Catalog since we cant all afford to buy the Wyoming Commemorative Rifles. At least we can drool on that. LOL!

If they are close to 6k I'd rather have a Jap Crown instead.

Yes well I would dearly love one. And if Adam happens to send one down here specifically with my name on it well then I sure won't knock it back.... However although I am as big a Weatherby fan as many on here, I see these as more of a collectors item. Ones not to be used. And well I buy and build mine to use.... But who knows when it comes to me, if I see one and have the cash to get it, then by gosh I'll snap it up lol
