So Jealous! I near bought one a couple of years ago. But I just don't have the storage room for one. When I buy/build a new house that will be one thing that I will be ticking off my bucket list.

Hello BB340. How are you. I hope you be fine. Do you know something? Since sometime ago that I want to make you  a question to kill my ignorance about one idea. By your post, a light from my head turned on dont ask me why. I think the motive is your last post, this post, in which say you had bought a new gun. It could  be that. If I dont remember wrong  you live in Australia. Is it or not? Beautifull country. Time ago I have read or seen in some magazines or notice in forums or notice programs newspapers etc  that in Australia guns are restricted or forbidden. I never believe in that considering the territory and nice people and  gun lovers  there.. And it is the point,  the question became to my mind. I think myself.  I will ask BB340 how is  the matter there. First at all, I have to say you that in my country Argentina gun matters are l very bad,  restrictive more dificult each day. Politics the only things  they do is complicate life to good people but not to bad them. To kill my ignorance can you tell me how is there? Is it true or not guns restrictions in that country?
I think it is not true about seeing just I said before the nice  and great country  as yours and I hope you to be free in that facts. Do I explain the enough way in order you can  understand what I mean. Thank you very much BB.

Juan, yes we can have a good number of firearms here in Australia, despite most of the world thinking we can't.
There are different rules for each state and some of them just plain stupid laws.
But mainly Australia wide most people can own any firearm as long as it is not a semi or full automatic rifle or shotgun.
However some people can get special licence to own a semi automatic rimfire or shotgun.
I would say though it is rather quite easy to get a firearms here. One just needs to get their firearms licence then get apply for a permit to buy a rifle. So far there isn't a limit on how many firearms a person can have, I myself have 60 odd rifles plus I have the licence that allows me to have ONE semi auto rimfire and One semi auto shotgun. I know of people who have more lots more firearms than me too.
There are a lot of rules and ridiculous laws that we have to go thru, but once you do it is quite simply to be a gun owner.
People can also get pistols but that is quite a bit harder and they can ONLY be used for target shooting at a licenced pistol range.

BB. Thank you very much for transmit me that information. Here things are similar. First you must obtain a license to be a legal gun user. With that license you can buy a gun and register it at authorities respectives. To obtein license you have to proove psicologics and physical tests. Legals methods of life. Not criminal  records copies of personal documentation and then wait for two months. Here you cant own authomatics rifles  no matter caliber are those. And there is somes categories from one to ten weapons p.e. and then you become a great owner and then a collector. With pistols or revolver no moore than 44mg. You can own guns in your home. Until now it is nor obligatory to have to shoot in any club. Here you have to install securitid systems at home, alarmas, specisl foors rtc. But as I say this I say you things relationed with weapons are coming embarrased as in much parts in the worlf too.
Thank you friend and I srnf you a great hug

BB great looking rifle that combo really looks good together. Always have had a spot for the stainless guns my stainless mark v has become my go to rifle on most hunts. I know Weatherby now has other options but I to find myself looking to Sako for stainless rifles.
