After 16 months I finally got my mount back yesterday.

Nice bear Roger. Taxidermist are at the mercy of tanners and there aren't that many out there anymore.I've had long waits on deer too.
Sorry... Yesterday was the last and final day for any and all complaints whatsoever.

I try to avoid temptation unless I can't resist it.

Do you know what his skull measured?

WE have my SIL's Black bear rug on the wall skull was 21,7/8  He's 8'6"x 8' but he's not growling :)

BM: I don't know  what the skull measured but it doesn't sound like mine is near as big as your SIL bear. Did he kill him on your place,can you get tags and hunt? Take some photos of the rug and skull and post for us to admire.
