Winter storm warning posted for Colorado. Front range 6"-10". That's not a lot of snow but on the front range with this many people it becomes a big deal :o

We just had big north winds, snow and then snow rocks. The storm blew through pretty fast but it definitely roared here for a while. Tumbleweeds were chasing cars down the road. It's supposed the be the last storm for a while with temps in the 60's this weekend. Overnight lows are still going to be in the high 20's and low 30's.

I used to be a ski instructor at Loveland Basin and in Steamboat.  More than one year those ski areas would close on a blizzard.

Believe it or not but March April and May are Wyoming's heaviest snow months.

The snow is letting up a bit. Wind has gone from 25 with gusts to 35 to 30 with gusts in the high 60's. Another 6-7 hours and it should be done.
Forecast is for cold and windy tomorrow
Did someone say global warming. I should step outside and take a poster picture for it  ;D
