Forgive if this is a redundant post, and if there's one out there that explains this, please steer me to it.
I scored a factory NIB Series 1 Vanguard SUB MOA in 7mm Rem Mag. Turns out this was sitting in the factory box in a gun shop's lock-up, and they decided to clean it out of inventory. When I got the rifle, I was gob-smacked! Yeah, it was a brand new rifle ... brass set screws in the scope taps and everything.
So, now to the question: This Vanny has the SUB MOA and Performance Delta etched on the magazine floor plate. What the heck does that etching actually mean? Was it some sort of marketing spin, or was this model a precursor to the Range Certified models?
Oh, and BTW, can you say "tack driver"? [I knew you could.] First trip to the range with plain old Remington green box 150 gr. Core Lokts produced MOA at 100 yds. You could see my grin from the Intl. Space Station.
