Pictures from Sunday of a 458 Hornady DGS 500 grain bullet shot at a MV of 2200 FPS.Shot into 1/2 inch plywood then a small chest freezer filled with dirt at 50 yards.This bullet just split the back wall of the freezer without fully exiting.Some of the tip damage may be from digging it out.None of the others made it this far.

That is an impressive bullet. Since it goes through wood, metal, and dirt and comes out solid I'm sure it can pass through a dangerous animal. Thanks for the test.
