Well, after loading up a handful and seeing where I developed pressure, i finally made it back out to see how they grouped. I reached pressure in my rifle at 3525 fps @ 74 grains of RL 26. Loaded up in .5 grain increments from 71.0-73.5 grains. Grouping was less than desirable to say the least. Most were between 1"-1.5" groups. I did clean the barrel thoroughly and shot a few foulers through it before shooting for groups. Looks like I will stick with the 140 Accubonds for now. Kinda let the wind out of my sail... Lol

thanks for the info, too bad you didn't get the accuracy and the speed in your rifle. Still haven't found any RL26 or the 129 gr LRX locally yet, but I'm still going to try it in my rifles sometime.

I had little success with the 129 LRX. The 140 TSX grouped better.  The 130 TTSX really not so good Whew.
Iíve been loading the 130 GMX. Groups running under 1Ē.  Speed slightly in excess of 3450 with H1000. Lyman maxes out at 76 grains. Hodgdon begins at 76 and maxes out at 81 grains. I started below Lymanís max and finished up somewhere in between. Tried IMR7828 and H4831 but the H1000 seemed more predictable in my rifle. Now Iím going to work on COAL.......

it just shows how every rifle can like different bullet weights. I had poor results with most 140 gr bullets in my rifles, I use mostly 130 gr and some 150 gr bullets. The factory 130 gr TTSX ammo shoot great in my rifles, and I have great loads using the 130 gr tsx with RL25 and 7828ssc. If I can find some 129's locally, I'll see how I make out with them. A friend worked up some loads with RL23 and the 130 gr TTSX, and is very happy with them. He couldn't get past 3450 fps, but the accuracy is great.

Dubyam's 270 wby load was 7828 ssc and the 130 gr E-tip but I don't recall how many gr's he was using and the speed he was getting.
