H-1000 has been consistent with 100 grain Barnes TSX and Swift Scirocco II bullets. Same chronographed velocities and accuracy.
Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.

Every man needs to know his limits.

Starting handloading today in Alberta, (cool day) and went up to 72.0 grains of RL-25 Under Weatherby brass, Fed 215GM primers and 110 grain Accubonds, no pressure signs yet but its grouping very nice. A real consistent node as well @ 71.1 grains. Tomorrow is IMR 7828 and 100 grain TTSX.

My 257 seems to like 110gr accubonds with imr7828. Haven't had a chance to play around too much yet. Just got 2lbs of H1000 , going to give that a try with some ttsx

Last week, working from home so a bit of reloading and shooting off the private range, its nice to reload, go outside in slippers, test given load, and load some more. In Canada some stuff can be tricky. Been playing with RL-25 and IMR 7828 and bullets have been 100 grain TTSX, 110 grain Accubonds, 110 grain Innerbonds, and 115 grain Ballistic tips. Using Weatherby brass and Fed 215GM primers. So far favorite load is 71 grains of 7828 under 100 grain TTSX.

Had some time to work up a few more loads . 100gr Swift scirocco with 76.3gr of Retumbo. Getting around 1/2" 100 yard groups letting the barrel cool between shots.

Going Friday, bear season starts Saturday here in PA. Hope to break my rifle in the right way this weekend.
