Iíll be using KCR 30-378 on my hunt next month. Has anyone used 180 Swift Scirocco on these guys?

I've never hunted Nilgai, but the 180 grain Scirocco II carries enough mass and energy to crush bones and anything else it encounters along the way. Great choice.

I've never hunted them either, never seen one in real life for that matter lol. But that combo will put the hurt on any critter of their size. Good luck on your hunt. Let us know how you get on.

should be plenty I plan on either these or 200 grain partitions out of a 300 accumark I have. It's an animal on the bucket list - as long as your guide/outfitter approves. Places here in Texas say 300 is the "minimum" caliber they will allow. Reality is they are elusive tough animals - my guides have told me stories of nilgai they hunt and the rule of thumb is don't stop shooting till he's down!

But again should be plenty as long as they do not require more. I would inquire and not assume - my guys have said either scirocco's or partitions they are fine with.

Hereís the results. I ended up using
Cutting Edge Bullets 180 Lazer. First shot was quartering away , initially dropped but got back up ran 40 yards and second shot through the shoulders.
