Pretty cool. We can kill one or keep them if trapped here.

The story behind the bobcat is a different one. One morning at 4:15 l was leaving for work and got 3 miles from home and it ran out in front of the truck. No time to react in the headlights.
Well l couldn't stand for it to just lay there in the ditch and go to waste. Took it too the Division of Wildlife and got it tagged. Than too the  taxidermist who is my neighbor.
Than the planning started on how to mount it. Decided on the mount style.
Than one day after pheasant season closed l was at a hunt club that l go to and shot the black hen. When l got to the clubhouse l asked about it. The owner told me he had put that hen out the end of September on one of the first hunts. That pheasant was out there from September too February on hunt club fields. So much for those "easy canned pheasant hunts"
It didn't get roughed up too bad by the shot or the dogs.
So there it is the story behind the Bobcat and the black hen pheasant mount.
The only other black pheasant l have seen was a Black rooster named Newman, at another hunt club. The story of Newman, is a story for another day
