My son and I both drew CO. 2nd rifle cow elk tags in GMU 76 by Creede. No luck on a moose tag in 76, but my buddy drew a Bull Moose tag in 37 and an archery deer tag in 103. He is planning to use his bow and switch to his rifle latter for moose. Hope everyone else having luck with their draws too.

Congratulations! We won’t know drawing results in Wyoming for another couple of weeks.

We’re fortunate though, in-state residents always have a fall back option of a general tag for deer and/or elk.

So...either way...I’m going hunting for elk and mule deer in the fall!  :)

We have to wait a little longer here as well.
The wife know when the draw is out as her phone starts ringing for cabins for the upcoming season.

I, and my 3 hunting buddies, bought our bull elk and mule deer tags back in December for our Idaho trip. Idaho doesn't make you buy points and they don't put you on a draw, they sell their tags first come first serve. You have to be on the ball though, the elk tags in our area sold out in just 2 days (740 tags). They allow nonresidents to start buying tags for the next year starting Dec. 1st. Now the bad news, their bull elk tags are going up from $416 to $652 next year.

Even at a $1000 they would sell out in 2 days.

They are saying the results will be out mid June sometime.

I agree, bull elk tags are a wanted thing, so If you can just buy them, there will always be someone to pay whatever the price will be.

76 is a great unit! Helped a buddy with his moose up by Creed a couple years ago. We hunt 80 across the road. May try to get out there for 3rd rifle this year.

The tags that cost us $874 this year will cost us $1200 next year. Their archery permit went from $20 to $82, they charge more to bow hunt than to rifle hunt. I think anti-hunters are taking control of these natural resource offices. They keep saying we need to encourage our youth to hunt but they are making it financially impossible.

The gf and I both got skunked this year, doesn't really matter though, we both can still use our treaty hunting rights if we want to.

I applied for any deer in South Dakota.  There are only 16 tags for the county I'm hunting, not that great of a chance to get one, but if I don't apply I will never know. :)

Do you have a backdoor way to check in Wyoming?  Colorado bills your credit card before posting the results, I knew I drew a non-resident elk tag by checking my credit card account.
