Yeah, I like the spiral fluting also, but thet're not offered on the Custom Shop Vanguard options either.

If you're talking about the Meat Eater link, when you scroll over the rifle, you can see the bolt. If thats what you're talking about.

The vanguard has never been and doubtfully ever will be offered in a left hand action.

All i'm saying is if you are making a rifle based on a show and more importantly a person that is left handed, you might want to consider making a left handed option. I would buy in heartbeat if they did.

I thought that the spiral fluting might be cost prohibitive compared the the std. fluting, but looking at different mfg's, prices, it doesn't look like it. (unless you want something special) Example:

I think it's a sharp looking rifle and have always considered the Vanguard a good value for the price.

Supposedly it cools faster, more "air" surface.  I think it's mostly just looks.
