Can someone tell me when Weatherby discontinued the Skip A Line checkering pattern?

1993 Weatherby Catalog refers to fine line checkering on the deluxe Mark V.

Figure out when they stopped hand checkering and you'll have your answer.
Retirement; The art of doing very little, very slowly

Expert; Someone who knows so much about so little

If you live in the swirl of the drain, inevitably you'll wind up in the cesspool.

Remember 10534

Sorry... Yesterday was the last and final day for any and all complaints whatsoever.

A lot of "hand checkering" is done by hand with a mechanical checkering cutter then touched up with a single line tool or a veiner. This is faster but requires even more of a "touch" by the checkerer. IMHO. GJ
