Went off the path and got a Browning
AB3 in 243.
3x9 Leupold CDS set with Leupold Back country light weight mounts.
Put it together today. Will try it out by the weekend.

Thats a good looking rifle, is it new, new to you, lightly used? It looks new, but didn't you just sell a 243 with a custom stock? Browning mfg's quality firearms and the 243 is a great caliber.

Thanks itís all new took a while to find something with all the BS COVID and Election Crap going on.
Yes I sold that custom gun. It was cool but also heavy, long barrel, and just not well suited for what I needed. It was also the Ackley Improved version😎When I bought my very first rifle I wanted a 243 and ended up with a 270. I now have a 243 after 38 years of everything else.😎

The 243 is a great cartridge. That and a 100 grain sierra in a Savage 99 accounted for many whitetails when l was young in Wisconsin
